NAILS // SPOILED in "ANTS IN MY PANTS"

Happy Hump Day! This rain and cold are killin' me!

Went to CVS to try and take advantage of their BOGO on Revlon's nail polish but no luck.  They didn't have the two I was lookin' for - Starry Pink & Facets of Fuchsia.  I'll check another CVS tomorrow.

But of course I didn't want to leave empty handed so I got three cheap polishes.  Two from the "Spoiled" line in "Ants in my Pants" & "Jewelry Heist".  The other was from Wet n Wild in 435G (which reminds me of Milani's "Disco Lights").  I paid $1.99 for Spoiled and .99 for the WnW.  Not bad.

What's bad, though, was the application brush on the Spoiled enamels.  Just all kinds of f*cked up.  I'll post pics of the brush later when I do the second color.  It's a shame because I really think the formula itself is nice!

There was no rhyme or reason today, just mashin' colors together! Ha!  Take a look, whatcha think?

Okay, I know it's been a week since I said I was goin' to do my eyebrow post.  I'm laggin' like no other because I can't decide if I want to just show you what I have or if I should have the long, detailed entry for you when everything is said and done.  I have my touch-up appointment this Friday which means another 7-10 days of healing time AND then, maybe another touch-up appointment.  I probably won't get to do a finished entry until the end of March or April!  (-___-)*  It's also the reason why I haven't done any FOTD's.  Sorry!  I'll figure it out!

I like bright polishes.  Too bad Mr. Groundhog wants to give us 6 more weeks of Winter.  Oh well, I am not listening anyway. lol

I finally got to try out one of Milani's NEON nail lacquers and I'm lovin' it!

I also got it in "Dude Blue".  I think I'll have to get the rest of them as well as most of the glitters.  My sister has a few of them and they look gooooooood.

I went to the Civic Center in Santa Ana to pick up a copy of my birth certificate so I can apply for my Taiwan Passport tomorrow.  I think it's great that I'm even allowed to do that since I am not a national citizen of the country. But, because I am 100% Taiwanese, I can and that's a great option if in any circumstance that I need to visit or leave the United States.  As my Father always says, "You never know".

Anyway, I just wanted to pop in real quick and post the nails I did today.  What do you think?  I love these two colors!

I did my nails this past Monday night since they were recently shaped by Ms. Joey (she hates it when I let my nails fan out, lol). Just don't ask me what they look like today because both my ring fingers are gone & the rest are already peeling due to constant cleaning! *Sigh* Oh well, haha.  Be back soon, enjoy!

Just a little preview. (^__^)

Brows are one day old. Still a little swollen, red/tender (especially the outline) and dark. They will fade and lighten from 25%-50%. I have to put Vaseline on them to maintain/block moisture and keep my hair outta my face. I cannot put any cosmetic products on them until they are healed. I will be touching them up in 4-6 weeks so y'all won't see the finished product until then. 

Don't worry, I've taken pictures & am documenting the process so I can share my experience for those who are interested in permanent makeup. Hope you love 'em cuz I do! Katie Bee is on point with her artistry!  Please visit her page and check her work!

I have been drawing my eyebrows in since high school and quite frankly, I am over it!  I was definitely not blessed with beautiful and full eyebrows.  Mine were naturally wild, sparse in some areas and didn't really have a shape.  Discovering a pair of tweezers wasn't exactly the best thing either!  I've over-plucked and was never able to shape my brows symmetrically so I am extremely excited that this will be a problem of the past!

Following are some photos of Katie's work, some of which I feel, absolutely benefited the clients overall look!

With this said, I am going to take y'all through the experience.  Come Tuesday, I will keep a photo diary from right before the procedure to a month after.  I hope this will also help some of you finally decide to get it done!

For me, I hope that my brows will look softer and a bit fuller.  The following are pictures of me from 2010 and 2011.

As you can see in the first photo, my brows were much thinner than how I do them now.  Although I no longer use a brow pencil (I use brow powder and wax), the defining lines still look a bit harsh at times.  I look forward to not having to do my brows if I don't have to!  One thing less to worry about when I am getting ready!
